Our new location after John and Mary Ann’s took us to the
Spring Hill/Aripeka area along the coast. We had met some people during our
stay near New Orleans and they recommended a quaint RV park in this area.
We didn’t object to coming to this part as it put us close
to my Uncle Al. Uncle Al lives in Largo Florida. He has lived in Florida since
1988 but originally he was just a three hour drive from where I grew up.
Uncle Al is now 93. The last time I saw him was at my Dad’s
funeral in 1981. Just a bit a time ago right! Well, he looks pretty much the
same just a bit older. Steve and I had the pleasure of seeing him twice during
our stay at Aripeka and we got to meet Pat. He and Pat have been together for a
couple of years and they look after each other.
When we left their place we drove around the area south of Largo to check out the beaches and the area. We only found one spot where Izzy could get on the beach but it was not very big. She enjoyed walking on the sea wall and checking out the birds. Well after they saw her they decided to change locations.
Do you have to stand so close

We had told Uncle Al and Pat we would come again.
They live in a 55+ community that has their own par 3 golf
course. Uncle Al played for longer than I have been alive I think but quit 3
years ago. Steve and I wanted to play their course so he decided to dust off
his clubs and play 9 with us. Oh this course doesn’t rent golf carts. Yep he
walked the 9 holes with us and did quite well for having not swung a club for 3
years.
We’re glad Pat is with him and she keeps him on his toes. I
am sure he will be around a bit longer, besides we need to see him next year
too!
Glad you reminded me on FB to read the blog, I really enjoy your adventures Tory.
