Just a quick note to let you all know we survived the Park!  I have some pictures and videos to go through so will get those loaded as soon as possible.

We will leave here tomorrow morning and head to Parker Arizona in the morning where we will be there for a day or so as we head up to Williams Arizona and a chance to see the Grand Canyon.

More to come!!

This morning we are in Twentynine Palms California looking forward to some hiking in Joshua Tree National Park.  I am still stuck with my cold, but maybe some exercise in 80+ degree weather will help purge it!!

We arrived here yesterday, but prior to that Steve was able to spend a few days visiting some of his childhood friends and getting caught up.  As part of that, we had them over to our house on wheels for some dinner and good times.  Scott, Steve's brother was able to come over and hang out with us too, since Steve's best buddy growing up had a brother that was Scott's buddy.

We also had a great time visiting with Aunt Julie and Scott.  They came up for an afternoon to enjoy our home and surroundings.  They were brave people to hang out with me since I have the cold of the century!!

I learned a lot those few days, and if I ever want anything I have a few stories I can tell on them!!  It is amazing they survived to tell them!!

Besides Jim, John, Kim and Cheryl, Steve caught up with Rob (Robbie) Ruehle and his sister Lori.  Steve and Rob hung out together in high school and Lori being the little sister tried to tag along. For us girls that have older brothers, we know how that went don't we!!

Before the reunions, we were able to play golf with Kevin (nephew) and enjoy the day. Steve has become the photographer so I am including some of the photos as well.

The other wonderful thing we were able to do was go see Disney's Beauty and the Beast at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert.  The lead Belle is played by a friend of Kevin's so it was a joy to get to see her perform.  Rod and Mary (brother and sister-in-law) went with us and we were able to get a couple of pictures in front of the theatre.

Hope you enjoy the pictures and stayed tune for some scenic shots from Joshua Tree!

Wow! It's already Wednesday March 20th!  We have not just been sitting since we landed in southern California but I haven't been very good about sitting at the computer and posting things.

We have enjoyed visiting our brothers and one of my nephews, as well as traveling to Newport Beach.  We spent part of a day touring the bay via a Duffy.  No not the dog named Duffy, but a small electric boat.  It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed viewing the boats and homes from the water.

We rode our bikes on the boardwalk at the beach and ate some great seafood!

Steve's been hiking every morning with Izzy exploring the wilds.....Izzy has enjoyed seeing the cottontail rabbits and chasing the squirrels...............Steve has enjoyed trying to catch lizards and other great items.

We managed to play a couple rounds of golf and my shoulder is working well.  I even shaved six strokes off between rounds.........not that Steve was impressed with my great skills!!

I have been down with a bad cold so haven't been exploring with Steve and Izzy yet but hopefully it will vacate the premises soon.

I will attempt to get some pictures posted with this and if I fail, just know we are enjoying ourselves, but miss all of you very much......SIT

Welcome to the Life and Times of SIT.  You're probably wondering what in the world is SIT?  Well, since we are living the road cruising life, I decided we needed a catchy way to share what we are up to.  So, SIT was born!  SIT means a lot of things depending on how you look at it.  SIT means sit to a dog. SIT means sitting down relaxing and enjoying reading a good book.  SIT means sitting a lot while you are on the road hauling your home behind you.

However, even though it means all of that, the first meaning for SIT is: Steve, Izzy and Tory!!

Welcome to the Life and Times of SIT!!

More to come..............................
